How Re-Wax works
Get your bike chain waxed without the hassle: order Re-Wax online, take your chain off the bike and post it to us in an envelope. In the Netherlands only, you can add a shipping pack: the envelope is already addressed and postage paid, so it goes straight into the postbox.
In our workshop in Drempt we give your chain an ultrasonic clean and wax it in Silca Secret Chain Blend, in Standard, Speed or Endurance.
You get it back ready to fit. Unpack, fit, a short ride to bed it in and you're done: clean, quiet and fast.

How the Re-Wax service works
- Order and send: Choose your wax, take the chain off your bike and send it as it is.
- Measure and clean: We measure chain wear and remove all old wax, oil and dirt in an ultrasonic bath.
- Hot wax: Your chain goes into the Silca wax of your choice, is then bedded in and packed airtight.
- Back through your letterbox: Returned ready to fit as a letterbox parcel. After about 10 minutes of riding the wax is bedded in.
Important before fitting: clean cassette
Never fit a waxed chain on an oily cassette or chainrings. Oil soaks into the fresh wax and the chain quickly gets dirty and dry again. Degrease the cassette, chainrings and jockey wheels thoroughly first and let everything dry. After that, the chain beds in within about 10 minutes of riding.
Shipping pack (+ €4)
You receive a sturdy envelope with protective packaging and pre-printed shipping labels. Chain in, seal, send — no hassle.
The shipping pack is only available within the Netherlands. From other countries, post the chain yourself with sufficient postage.

How do I send my chain?
Order the Re-Wax service, optionally add the shipping pack (NL only) and post your chain to H. Remmelinkweg 3, 6996 DH Drempt, Netherlands. Include your order number.
How long does the Re-Wax service take?
Usually your chain is on its way back to you within a few working days of arrival, vacuum-packed.
Do I need to clean the chain first?
No. Cleaning is included: old wax, oil and dirt are completely removed in the ultrasonic bath.
Which chains can you wax?
All 9- to 13-speed chains from Shimano, SRAM, Campagnolo and KMC, including chains previously lubricated with oil.
